Delete your account
You can delete your Daymons account and everything stored with it at any time. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, or by e-mail — and the second one works even if you have already removed the app from your phone.
1. From the app
Profile tab → Delete account
Deletion happens immediately after you confirm it. It cannot be undone.
2. By e-mail
If you no longer have the app, or you cannot sign in, write to soma3000kft@gmail.com from the e-mail address your account was created with and say that you want your account deleted. There is no form to fill in, and we will not ask you for anything else.
We complete the request within 30 days of receiving it and confirm it by e-mail. If we cannot identify an account from your address, we will write back.
3. What gets deleted
Both routes delete the same things, permanently:
- your profile (name, age, height, weight, sex, goals, settings);
- your fasts, journal entries, meals, water, sleep and activity data;
- your weight entries and statistics;
- your progress photos — the image files themselves, from storage;
- your weekly AI summaries and daily coach texts;
- your group memberships: your name and your messages go from your groups too;
- your sign-in account (e-mail address, Google or Apple identifier).
We do not delete shared challenges, because other members' progress rests on them — but we take your name and your score out of them. If you owned a group, the longest-standing member takes it over; if nobody is left in it, the group goes too.
4. What we keep, and why
- Accounting records. If you had a paid subscription, we are required by law to keep the invoices for a set period. The payment itself is handled by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your card details.
- Error logs. Typically 90 days at our provider, then deleted automatically. They contain no health data.
Beyond those, we keep nothing.
5. Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a running subscription — the store manages that, not us. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. It is worth cancelling first and deleting the account afterwards.
6. If you only want to delete some of it
You do not have to delete the whole account to get rid of specific data:
- Progress photos: Profile tab → Progress photos — delete any picture one by one, and the file is removed from storage too.
- Journal and weight entries: at the entry itself, one at a time.
- Shopping lists: these delete themselves after 14 days.
- AI features: the Profile tab → AI features switch withdraws your consent at any time; from then on no data goes to the AI provider.
